JDK Setting: / passive switch automatic mode

The JDK 7 had a / passive switch along with a / quiet switch. If I install from the command line using /? the switch describes the first as "Automatic mode - progress bar only"

A couple of things with JDK 8:

• Help switch "/?" does not appear to be valid. Also tried "/ help". Is there any help for the jdk 8 CLI installer?
• The passive switch is also not available. Is there a comparable switch for automatic mode?

I tried:

jdk-7u51-windows-x64 (/ passive, / ?, work)

jdk-8u20-windows-x64 - passive / help switches not working.
