Exec format error, Qt5 online installer on Lubuntu

I've looked all over the place and can't find the answer, so I'm posting here.

Using a 64-bit Lubuntu virtual machine,

Download the online Qt installer: https://www.qt.io/download-open-source

Loaded correct architecture installer

After sudo chmod + x "qt-opensource-linux-x64 .... run" and typing. / qt -opensource ....

Getting: Cannot Execute Binary: Exec Format Error

So I don't know where to get it from here, I didn't check the checksum because I couldn't find the checksum on the Qt download page, but I download it twice if the download was corrupted and got the same problem in both cases.
