Unity does not show preview

My question is pretty simple. I am learning Unity and watching a tutorial on creating a 2D game.

The tutorial has a section Preview

in the lower right corner. But there is nothing in my Unity. There is nothing to the Inspector

right and below Add Component

.

Can someone explain to me how I can activate this part? Thanks in advance!

This preview block is for resources. It shows a preview of the resource. To get this, you have to click on one of your resources (for example, an image).

However, when you don't have a selected resource, it won't show
