Sliding tab strip apperance Android

I have a problem embedding swiping tabs in an Android App (compiled with API 21).

The previous version of my app had ActionBar tabs and looked like this after compiling with API 21:

Previous ActionBarTab

I want to implement Swiping Tabs (for example in Google I / O app under "My Schedule" here:)

Google I / O swiping tabs

but with ActionBar tab support (dark). Responsible for this is the SlidingTabStrip class (copied from the Google I / O application). Does anyone know how to get the ActionBar in Swiping Tabs?

SlidinTabStrip:

class SlidingTabStrip extends LinearLayout {

You can try adding a parameter background

to your SlidingTabLayout

view

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="match_parent" android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:orientation="vertical">

<com.example.SlidingTabLayout
    android:id="@+id/sliding_tabs"
    android:layout_width="match_parent"
    android:layout_height="wrap_content"
    android:background="#000" /> <!-- Background setting here -->

<android.support.v4.view.ViewPagerxmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    android:id="@+id/pager"
    android:layout_width="match_parent"
    android:layout_height="match_parent">
</android.support.v4.view.ViewPager>
