Get Pinterest RSS feed for a board with special characters

Usually, to get an RSS feed for a Pinterest board, you just add ".rss" to the end of the URL.

For example, for a board in, http://www.pinterest.com/philchairez/mega-man-x/

you can get an rss feed from http://www.pinterest.com/philchairez/mega-man-x.rss

.

If a board has a special character in its name, it usually seems like Pinterest just removed the special characters from the assigned URL.

For example, this board is called "movie + music + books + games" and its URL http://www.pinterest.com/claramechelle/film-music-books-games/

(note that the "+" symbols are excluded).

Another example: "Children's games + musical instruments", http://www.pinterest.com/sammijjohno/kids-diy-games-musical-instruments/

Receiving RSS feeds for these boards works as expected: http://www.pinterest.com/claramechelle/film-music-books-games.rss

http://www.pinterest.com/sammijjohno/kids-diy-games-musical-instruments.rss

However, some boards URLs sometimes include special character URL encoding. For example, this board is called "Dungeons + Dragons": http://www.pinterest.com/lizardskingirl/dungeons-%2B-dragons/

And this board is called "Game Art + UI / HUD": http://www.pinterest.com/portableneko/game-art-%2B-uihud/

Adding ".rss" to these urls doesn't work: http://www.pinterest.com/lizardskingirl/dungeons-%2B-dragons.rss

http://www.pinterest.com/portableneko/game-art-%2B-uihud.rss

You will simply be redirected to the list of custom panels. If you try to just remove the special character like other urls, you get a 404.

Does anyone know how to get an RSS feed for such boards?

try it

http://pinterest.com/ [username ]/feed.rss

For example, my username is "sharp", so my RSS feed can be found at:

http://pinterest.com/sharp/feed.rss

Renaming a board does not change its internal name, so if you renamed a board see if you remember the original name and generate a URL .rss

.
