Changing text highlight color in matlab editor
Is there a way to change the highlight color of the text in the Matlab editor from a bright blue with white text to something lighter on the eye, perhaps programmatically (or in a matlab.prf file)? I found editor color and syntax settings, however there is no way to set text highlighting.

It is not installed directly by MATLAB, but inherited from the operating system.
On Windows 7 running the General theme, it will be under the symbol
Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization -> Personalization -> Window Color (icon at the bottom)
From the dropdown select the item: Selected Items and from there you can choose the highlight color and font color.
Note. You do not need to restart your computer, but you may need to restart MATLAB to see the change.
