I cannot find this information anywhere. 2.5 docs have a backward compatibility page, but 3.0 pages don't.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
I ran client 2.5 from database 3.0 and everything works. I'd love to get an official answer to this though.
In case anyone wants to know: Client 3.0 doesn't seem to work with Server 2.5.
