Android Studio stuck on starting emulator

I am new to development Android

. I am stuck while writing a Hello World program.

Android Studio

stuck while opening the emulator.

OS - MacBook Pro

It got stuck after showing below instructions,

Waiting for device.

Over the past 5 days, I have been on the same step. Please help me to overcome this problem.

As I can see, your android studio is missing for "x86" engines for your emulator. Check out these 2 points:

  • Make sure you have this system image installed. Open SDK Manager and navigate to Android 4.4.2 folder. Install everything to be sure:

  • If that doesn't help, you can also try changing the system image for your emulator. Create a new virtual device and this time select something other than "x86" if it still doesn't work:

Stop Emulator -> Open ADV Manager -> Edit Virtual Device -> Click Show Advanced Settings -> Set Frame Size to 512mb -> Start Emulator
