Setting up android studio 1.0.2

I am new to android studio IDE. I downloaded the latest 1.0.2 and I cannot find the option to customize the app icon when I initially build the project. I have used eclipse before. let me know if there is an option and also if anyone has a tutorial on how to get started with android studio please provide me with links.
