Difference between Modernizr 2.X and Modernizr 3.0

I read on the Modernizr site that Modernizr 3.0 will be a complete rewrite of Modernizr.

Questions:

  • Where can I find the new Modernizr?
  • Will V3 be backward compatible?
  • Can I find a complete out-of-the-box Modernizer-latest.js for V3 anywhere?

Will V3 be backward compatible?



Not. That's why its 3.0. Mostly yes, but not 100%. See the link above for release notes.
