Meta Tags for Open Graph - Facebook can't create thumbnails

  • These are the meta tags I am using (I hope I am using them correctly). What do you mainly use?

  • Also I have a problem sharing my site on facebook. og: image is for getting facebook to use my preference image as a thumbnail. Instead, facebook uses the wrong image and is tagged as "safe_image" (safe_image.php). Why is this happening?

<meta property="og:type" content="Product">
<meta property="og:url" content="http://www.mybestproducts.com/">
<meta property="og:site_name" content="Myname">
<meta property="og:description" content="Selling the best products">

<meta property="og:image:height" content="550">

Also I read this first: FB OpenGraph og: image doesn't pull images (https perhaps?)

But since I'm not using https, I don't think that's my case. So you guys think? Thanks everyone in advance

The reason in my case was that I had a temporary cash problem as my domain was linked to my facebook account for years before linking it to the actual site. I had to wait many days.
