Sitecore icons damaged during installation

I get the following error in the Sitecore editor when I go to Configure> Icons and try to click More Icons:

Access to path 'C: \ inetpub \ wwwroot \ MyWebSite \ temp \ icons_Applications.html' is denied.

What would be the easiest way to sync the icons on the website with the installer without having to start and reinstall the site?

It seems that perhaps your IIS site's application pool does not have permission to create temporary files where the icons are placed after they are first opened. Sitecore uses a folder Website\temp\IconCache

to store icons. Make sure your application pool for the IIS site has the correct permissions in the installation guide, in which case it looks like write access is not fully granted.

The default IIS Application Pool ID will be either Network Service or ApplicationPoolIdentity. Make sure the user has written down the NTFS permission for the root folder of \Website

your instance.
