WebSharper Web Site Launch

I am following the WebSharper Sitelet tutorials such as the minimal example here , but I cannot find any documentation to run the backend process to host the site that runs dynamic code on every request.

I can paste the example code into my editor and make basic changes to it, but it's not clear what I should do after compiling it. Do I need to connect it to some larger system?

I am coding Emacs on Linux, so I have no way of using Visual Studio Just Is It ^(TM) to help me.
