Android: How to return directly from the Gmail app to the app home screen?

In my app, I launch the gmail app directly from my app ... I want when I go back to navigation from the action bar, the main screen of the app opens, not to the gmail inbox ... Can anyone help me? return to the main screen of the app (I don't want to directly press the os default return button)?

You haven't written a Gmail app. Gmail app authors can control the behavior of the BACK button or the availability in the action bar in the Gmail app. You don't get votes.
