TYPO3: how to show a field in BE for its owner only?

TCA offers the ability to conditionally display fields using displayCond

. for an instance HIDE_FOR_NON_ADMINS

allows the field to be displayed only to the admin, but is there a way to display a given field only to its creator defined by the field cruser_id

Not out of the box. You can connect to TCEMAIN (DataHandler) or TCEFORM (FormEngine) to archive this.



However, you can use the access rights and set the rights to display the page (storage folder) only for this user. Check the access module.
