How to update the Groovy version used by an extensible parameter plugin

I need to access parallel collections , but the associated Groovy is pretty old: version 1.8.9. The current Groovy version is 2.4.

Is there a plugin in Jenkins that can populate the combo parameter and allow a newer version of Groovy ?.

I know the complete version with GroovySystem.getVersion()

I tried to install a Groovy plugin that allows any version of Groovy but does not affect the options plugins like the advanced selection options plugin .
