Visual Studio 2013 Community Edition - "Your license has expired." although this is a release (Update 4)

This is strange. I installed Visual Studio 2013 Community Edition on two computers with the same installer (and the installation started / finished at about the same time) and it seems the issue is related to my licensing; one is activated and the other is locked, without the possibility of updating or updating.

After going through the installation and logging in, my first install on my Windows 7 laptop went smoothly; it can work as expected.

But when I finished the installation on my Windows 8 laptop and logged in, I was presented with the following message:

Your license has expired.
Reason: Pre-release software.

I tried reinstalling and it doesn't seem to make any difference. Also, do not log out or log in (or log out by restarting your computer and then log back in), help in updating the license.

As for this question , it doesn't ask me to update trial licenses; just "you can't use this message anymore" and there is no way to update or "update".

Note: Please give me a hot moment to collect screenshots from my computers.

I had a similar problem. The way I solved it was to go to the control panel and try to uninstall it. When the dialog appeared, I clicked the Update (or Fix) button. After that, I rebooted and logged in and it worked.

My VS2013 was a trial, although my license had expired, but I was unable to transfer the screenshot screen you posted.

Hope it works!
