Linkedin does not receive thumbnail

Every time I try to share a wordpress post on my Linkedin it doesn't pick up the image in the article. You have no problem doing this on Facebook, and I think everything in Open Graph Meta is correct because my source code says:

meta property = "og: image" content = "http://smartkiss.net/assets/online-ad.jpg"

Dimensions over 80 x 150 pixels, as recommended by Linkedin. Any idea why this might be happening?

Try using .png images in .jpg format. I know several people who have the exact same problem and it has always worked.

One possible reason could be that LinkedIn is taking an image from the oEmbed tag , as shown in another thread .

I am facing the wrong choice of LinkedIn images on my WordPress site. I found the problem when I found the URL by the LinkedIn post inspector and saw the following information:
