Resizing sidebar (prototype cells)

As an Xcode beginner, I want to know how to change the width of the sidebar. In the viewcontroller, I have a few prototypes in which I have a label and an image, but since they don't take up that much space, I have some empty space that I want to get rid of.

Can anyone please help?
