LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE sqlalchemy and python for mysql db
I am trying to use LOAD LOCAL DATA INFILE
with sqlalchemy to upload batch files to my server. I edited mine /etc/mysql/my.conf
to contain local-infile == 1
under [mysql]
and [mysqld]
, but I get this traceback when I run the program.

I have done some research from the docs and cannot find a way to fix this error. With python MySQLdb (from pip install MySQL-Python
) will let me pass in the local-infile parameter. I cannot find an equivalent in SQLAlchemy. Any help is appreciated.
EDIT: I've been working on this all night and so far haven't made any progress - a lot of dead ends. Any ideas?
Thanks Jared
