IOS 8 Input Panel Icon Color

I am initializing the icons in a tab on my storyboard with my custom images. When the tab bar appears on the display, it shows my images in gray (which is not the original image color).

As soon as I touch them, the original color appears !!

I read that the reason might be the way my icons were initialized (in iOS 7 it works fine), but I've tried many approaches and none have been able to resolve the issue. Can anyone help me here?

try resizing images, it should be 30x30 px for iphone
