In the earlier GNOME2 gitg frontend, it was easy to check the check by right clicking on it. How can I checkout a branch in the new GNOME3 frontend? Right click only now to rename, delete, copy name and install Mainline.
As far as I know, you cannot.
Gitg is a git repository viewer that also lets you merge and commit. But fetch, branch apparently not implemented.
