Solr Extended DisMax no longer adds dozens of phrase requests

I upgraded from Solr 4.4.0 to 5.1.0 and I noticed different behavior from Advanced DisMax Query Analyzer when the phrase query matches on multiple fields.

As of 4.4.0 , if the phrase query matches in field1 and in field2, then the sum of both promotions will be used to increase the score of the document.

As of 5.1.0, only the maximum value of matches in different fields is used to increase the score of the document.

Is there a way to influence this behavior?
