Setting up a GPRS server and sending data

I recently bought a gps tracker with gsm and Gprs support, I want to send data from gps to my GPRS server (located in my house) and from there use the data ... my problem is I don’t know how to set up GPRS server, what I need, what programs, etc., my gps settings have the following settings: configure APN, GPRS username and password, IP and port setting, GPS has the ability to send data via GPRS. I apologize for this question, but I really don't know much about servers, my love is programming. I need such material to make a program for gps tracking (amateur course)
