SLURM sbatch output buffering

I created some slurm scripts and then tried to execute them using sbatch. But the output file is not updated frequently (once a minute).

Is there a way to change the output buffering delay in sbatch? I know stdbuf is used in situations like this, but I couldn't get it to work with sbatch.
