Twilio: Can I turn off incoming text messages?

I am new to Twillio. I just bought a number and I am using the API to send text messages through that number. But the recipient can reply to this number. How do I turn off incoming text messages?

You can turn off text messages for a number completely, but you cannot selectively turn off incoming texts or texts from a specific number.
