Eclipse cannot find ROS files for Ubuntu

I am trying to set up a development environment for ros using the eclipse tutorial found on the ros website, http://wiki.ros.org/IDEs . I followed "Catkin-y". I made sure the eclipse ended from the shell where the ros paths are set, including my workspace.

The environment builds fine, but when I go to run setup and click on the view project for binaries, none of them are found. the manual does not provide any suggestions if this fails. Any ideas?
