What is the preferred method of using Google to sign in?
Google has a habit of providing multiple means to an end. And about the grooves when they like it. If I need to implement Google Authentication today, which should I choose? Sign in to Google or Google+ Sign in ? Or to put it another way: which one will last longer?

Use google sign in. This is the second iteration of Google+ Sign-In, so it's very similar but easier and faster to implement. Login to Google has gapi.auth2

Authentication products are said to usually have a couple of years of deprecation, so a Google+ registration will take a long time to complete, even if it was canceled today.
