Failed to retrieve ResultSet

Right now I am trying to change some data in the database by updating the object with the query, but I am getting this error:

HTTP Status 500 - Request processing failed; nested exception is 
org.springframework.orm.jpa.JpaSystemException: could not extract ResultSet; nested exception is 
org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: could not extract ResultSet

      

This is my mapping controller:

Operation

UPDATE

returns nothing (you can try running the query in your favorite DB client), so spring fails when trying to build VacancyEntity

from the result of your update query. You also need to add @Modifying

to the request because it is an update request .

To fix the problem, change your repository to this:
