Support Form Post Response Mode?

Does Google plan to support Form Post response mode in its OpenID Connect / OAuth 2.0 implementation?

Other identity providers like Azure Active Directory and IdentityServer support this, but Google doesn't seem to work (based on reading the docs and some manual testing). For context, I'm building an OpenID Connect library and was hoping to take advantage of that opportunity (and prefer not to rely on getting tokens via HTTP GET and URL fragments).
