Problem with new fields in the Nest API data model?

I have noticed that Nest

recently (late May 2015) added hvac_state

and wheres

the data model API. However, I don't see these new fields in the output JSON

when prompted for my device. Was there an opening date for these new fields or something else I'm missing? Does anyone else see hvac_state
