Android studio 1.3 preview 2

I'm having an issue where android studio is not displaying the preference UI due to a dependency exception, Exception raised during rendering: Dependency "XXXX" not found for preference "XXXXX"

is there a workaround for this solution? or do we need to wait for the next release?
