Diff on hibernate envers revisions

Getting old value and new value between two versions using Hibernate Envers

Since these questions are several years old, I would like to know if something has changed?

Can you get diff using envers now?

Or do I still need to download two versions and compare them myself Java?

And if so - what's the best way to compare the two versions in Java?
