Ranorex License Server Update

We need to upgrade the Ranorex License Server from 5.1 to 5.3.
What is the correct approach to not break current tests?

I already searched on the Ranorex homepage for this question without finding anything.

The answer from user1982826 is good. Since at the same time the official Ranorex support answered my request, I want to share my answer:
Typically, when the server is updated, the service will be reinstalled and restarted. Depending on how long it takes (for example, depending on the computer), the client connection may end and the test will break. Therefore, it would be safer to update the server if the test fails.

Usually a simple update should work, but would it be safer to update the license server if the tests are not running? The best way to update the license server is to uninstall the old version, reboot the machine, and install the new version. It usually also works if you just run the installer without uninstalling the old version, but I prefer the uninstall-reboot-install method.
