What are the oral names <$> and <*>?

When I read code that I'm unfamiliar with, I find it strange when I come across a symbol that I can't pronounce in my head. I am currently having a problem with <$>

and <*>

from Control.Applicative

in Haskell. What are their correct colloquial names?
