Path in Wordpress

I reinstalled WP and moved everything to a different / dev path. Changed site url settings (home, site) in wp-options and updated Permalinks, and added corresponding .htaccess subchannel.

Everything is perfectly separated from the elements of the media library. They are looking for a non-existent previous location.

Is there a way to update the url for media library items? Is the entire url stored in the db or can an update be done to the main url.

CDN might be the solution, but for now I want to store it on the master server.

Thank,

I would like to share a plugin link that I personally use to solve this issue for a media url. Here's the plugin url.

https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-and-replace/

Just install this plugin and find all items that have the old url and enter the old url in the search box and in the replace box enter the new server url.

hope this helps to solve the problem.

Most people who move a WordPress installation use a plugin for this purpose. The methods of transferring information that you are talking about are built into the database, many of them are in the text of messages and pages. The plugin authors have developed the subtleties of updating them.

I used Duplicator. https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ It's free and it works. There are many others.

Here's another way.

You can use the Find and Replace script from interconnectit. It's free.

I have used this many times without any problem. Just upload the file to your server and follow the instructions. When you get to the search and replace screen, simply enter the domain name of your old site (Ie example.com) and replace it with the new domain (Ie example1.com).

Remember to delete the file when you're done.

I will recommend you go through the plugin . But if you want to do it manually, you can find and replace url in your database using notepad++

or Adobe Dreamweaver

.

you just need to replace the old domain / subdomain with the new one.
