Accept Mail Certificates in Firefox Email Application
There seems to be no way to add certificates to the standard mail application, making my personal mail server useless.
How do I add a CaCert root certificate to my Firefox phone?
At the moment when I try to connect to my server I get the error

Unfortunately, this is currently not possible in the email application. Bug 874346 tracks the issue, but it depends on some platform bugs before it can be fully resolved.
In the meantime, the User History section of this error describes some workarounds that can help in some cases.
