Javax.servlet.ServletException: UT010016: Not requesting multiple parts in io.undertow.servlet.spec.HttpServletRequestImpl.loadParts

I have a JSF 2.2 page with the below file upload form in WildFly 8.2.0.

When I post it, I get the following exception:

How is this caused and how can I solve it?

You forgot to set the encoding type of the form using an attribute enctype

<h:form>

The default is used application/x-www-form-urlencoded

, which is not intended for sending binary data, such as binaries sent via <input type="file">

. You have to set it multipart/form-data

according to HTML spec when using element <input type="file">

(generated by JSF <h:inputFile>
