Failed to install nodejs on Windows 8.1

I tried to install http://nodejs.org/dist/v0.12.4/node-v0.12.4-x86.msi on Windows 8.1 but failed. Windows errg error popup Like something. Node.js Setup Wizard finished prematurely due to an error. Your system has not been changed. To install this program later, run the setup wizard again ... ".

It works great for me on Win 8.1 Home Premium 64-bit.



Have you tried to disable virus checking, run the installer as administrator, check free disk space?
