How to Reassign "Legal" Permission in iTunesConnect

In our first iOS app, the person who started our Apple account assigned "legal" permission to our general email support, and thus a "legal" permission was assigned to that Apple ID. Even though the CEO filled out all the paperwork there with access to this mail, the "legal" one shouldn't have been assigned to that AppleID.

We need to move this permission from the general support mail to our own corporate mail of our CEO, but I cannot move this permission even though I am logged in as the current "legitimate" user. The "legal" checkbox seems immodest.

Is there a way to CHANGE the AppleID assigned to "legal?"

See this page for instructions on how to migrate the Team Agent (Legal) role: https://developer.apple.com/library/content/documentation/IDEs/Conceptual/AppDistributionGuide/ManagingYourTeam/ManagingYourTeam.html

In a nutshell (from the page above):

Log in to developer.apple.com/account as a team agent and click Membership.

Scroll down to Settings and click Transfer Agent Role Transfer.

Follow the instructions that appear in the series of dialogs.

For example, you are asked to select a new team agent and sign an Agent Transfer Agreement.

The legal role can be reassigned by contacting developer support https://developer.apple.com/contact/submit/

If I understand correctly and you would like to sign a legal role to another person, you can do so under the User & Roles tab in iTunes Connect. To change user roles, you need to have an administrator account. If you want to change the Apple ID that is used to sign all contacts, this is unfortunately not possible. In most cases, this is the initial email from which the account was originally created. This, unfortunately, will remain the same unless you switch from a private account to a corporate account. Hope it helps.
