Is Microsoft's Asp.net Owin Helios project still alive?
Microsoft announced the helios project a year ago ( http://blogs.msdn.com/b/webdev/archive/2014/02/18/introducing-asp-net-project-helios.aspx ). Since then there have been no nuget package updates and no related news. Is it safe to use it or is it dead?

ASP.NET users have been using Katana for a long time as it provides the latest releases of Microsoft's Web API and SignalR. Helios was originally an add-on to this map.
However, they (Katana and Helios) will not be much updated since ASP.NET 5 takes a different design approach. The Microsoft folks have stated this unofficially in several places and should provide a better explanation when ASP.NET 5 was officially released.
