How to recognize a song while listening to Echonest for iOS?

I want to implement functionality similar to the one integrated into the Shazam app. I want my application to press a button to "listen" to a song, and after a while "guess" the song or give some predictions using the Echonest api for iOS. I searched the internet and so far I found out that I need to send my fingerprint to the Echonest server and give me a response with song information. But I read somewhere that this functionality will not be available. Also tried to upload the whole mp3 file to my server and the answer is always empty. Does anyone have experience with this problem and tell me where am I going wrong? I used echoprint but no luck .
