Is SchTasks / Delete Synchronous Operation?

Is it a SchTasks /Delete

synchronous operation?

OR is it possible that after SchTasks

finished and returned a successful error code, there is another startup task? This will create race conditions in our deployment software.

Unfortunately, we were unable to find any information on this. Does anyone know or has a source where this is stated? Otherwise, I have to run ProcExp / ProcMon and recognize myself ...

It behaves as if it were synchronous ... I have created and used batch files to import / export / delete scheduled tasks (saved as xml files) using the SchTasks.exe utility for several years. I don't have an official statement from Microsoft, but I have never had any problems deleting several dozen tasks one by one. I know that when the executable is finished the task will disappear.
