How to download YouTube videos using YouTube Api

I want to create an application that uses the YouTube API, but I cannot find how to upload a YouTube video. Can anyone tell me how? BTW I am using vb.net and C # .net

Other than the permissions and rights granted in this section, you and your API clients have no further permissions or rights to API Data, including temporarily stored API Data.

Audiovisual content

  1. You and your API clients should not and should not encourage, enable, or require others to:

    1. upload, import, backup, cache or store copies of YouTube audiovisual content without YouTube's prior written permission,
    2. make content available for offline playback, or
    3. use any aspect of the YouTube API Services to facilitate or encourage copyright infringement or exploitation of material that infringes copyright.

You probably don't need YouTube to download videos. They can't show AD once you've loaded it, and so on. Perhaps, however, you can watch the thread from 2014 here:
