How does the roTextureManager image cache work?

Does roTextureManager automatically flush or replace bitmaps in its cache when it sees it running out of memory? I can't seem to find a good answer to this question.

Yes, presumably that's the goal roTextureManager

, although the behavior is undocumented (go figure!).

See this thread http://forums.roku.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=69730#p451528 for discussion and some confidence.
