HTTPS server on Android device using NanoHttpd

I am trying to start an HTTPS server on an Android device using NanoHttpd (my end goal is to start a WSS server on Android). I have successfully started HTTP Server and Websocket using NanoHttpd on Android. I generated a key on the MAC using this command and copied it to my device:

keytool -genkey -keystore key.keystore -storepass keypass -storetype BKS -provider org.bouncycastle.jce.provider.BouncyCastleProvider

      

I wrote the following code:

keyStore = KeyStore.getInstance("BKS");
keyStore.load(stream, keyStorePwd.toCharArray());
keyManagerFactory = KeyManagerFactory
           .getInstance(KeyManagerFactory.getDefaultAlgorithm());
keyManagerFactory.init(keyStore, keyStorePwd.toCharArray());
SSLContext sc = SSLContext.getInstance("TLS");
sc.init(keyManagerFactory.getKeyManagers(), null, null);
server.makeSecure(sc.getServerSocketFactory());
server.start();

      

I tested this on Chrome 38 and 42 with the "Minimum SSL / TLS" flag set to "SSLv3". But when I want to connect to the server, I get the error "ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH".

I've tried different instances of the protocol (SSL / TLS) on multiple machines and browsers. I tried NanoHttpd SSLServerSocketFactory method. But the error is the same.

After an hour of work I did it!

Here is MY (working) code:

Modified from decoded solution as I was unable to use the JKS keystore type.

Instead, I use the Keystore Explorer to generate the BKS key. Select BKS-V1 as the new keystore type, then configure the NanoHTTPD server before starting:

"src / main / resources / localkey.bks" resolved at runtime? I need to use a certificate and I have absolutely no idea where to put the .bks file on my android phone, so my app can download that file and use SSL
