Does Watson Insight Insights use retweets?

I think you misunderstood how the Watson Personality Insights service works. A way of structuring the API, the end user submits content for analysis to Watson. This content can be anything from a collection of tweets, to a chapter in a book, to any lengthy email format. The only requirement is that the word count is greater than 100 and the total size is less than 20 MB.

Coming back to your question, the Personality Insights API will use whatever content you give it, so it will only parse retweets if given them. For more information on the API, see the REST API documentation .
