Oversubscribing letter / tree length on database creation

When running Database Tuning Advisor (oracle 9i) I get an exceeded letter / long tree error . Please help me.

This is an instance java.util.zip.ZipException

. There are many things that can cause this. One of the reasons is the execution path is too long, for example if you extracted the zip into a subdirectory (instead of, say, root).



But there are a number of other things that can cause this, for example. file corruption. Therefore, if directory path length is not an issue, you will need to provide us with more details. For example, what OS are you installing? Also, is there more information about the error in the log file $ORACLE_HOME/assistants/opca/install.log
