Spring Integration of integrated graphics STS plugin "manual mode"

Question

In several forums people talk about "manual mode" when editing the spring-integration xml file in the integration-graphics tab.

The problem is that I can't find a way to access this manual mode and change the default layout (which is a complete mess).

I tried to reposition the elements, but I have a red cross and can I find a button that says to switch to manual mode or something?

Can anyone please help?

My Env: Eclipse 4.4.2 + Spring IDE Plugin 3.6.4. I also tried using STS 3.7
