IPhone App "Awaiting developer release" - can I submit for testflight now without any consequences?

My iPhone app is currently in "Waiting for developer" status, but I want to use testflight for one final smoke test before I release it.

This is a bit back when I applied first before submitting for the test.

My question is what happens if I click the "Submit for Beta Application" button in testflight now. Will I remove me from Pending Developer Status and force me to apply again? I don't want to go through a week waiting for approval.

I've put in quite a bit of effort to submit for beta testing testflight and my app is still in "Pending Developer Release" (phew!), But it's a shame that the status of testflight is "pending review".



I was really hoping that since Apple has approved the go-to-market app, then testflight can be ready instantly. Now, waiting for the flight test checkout to check> _ <
